I started sailing Sunfish as a kid in the junior sailing program at Spray Beach Yacht Club. As time went on, I moved into Lasers and crewed on anything I could get aboard. At about the age of 30, I bought a Catalina 22 and started thinking more seriously about going cruising full-time, which was a dream I had since I was a teenager and read Tania Aebi. A few years later, I met my wife, and, shortly after, we bought a Tayana 37, Bear, which is also when my love for double-enders really grew. We live aboard Bear every summer on the US East Coast and will be spending the next year sailing there and in the Caribbean. Please check out our blog, Return to Seasons.
